Position Summary

Trinity College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Theater and Dance at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be a Choreographer/Dancer with expertise in New Media. Applications from women and minorities are especially encouraged. Qualifications

We seek candidates with a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and practice. Persons applying must have a terminal degree with a history of producing professional choreographic work with a specialization in media in performance and informed by contemporary multidisciplinary approaches to dance. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate the ability to situate contemporary performing arts practices within broad cultural contexts and critical perspectives. Special consideration will be given to candidates who engage global and/or urban issues in their work, or issues of identity, race, class, ethnicity, sexuality or gender.
